An Area from the Past
A large amount of the current younger generation wants to go back to the past, more specifically, the early 2000s! Here, I want to focus on the Alternative and Emo Music.

Well-known Artists
These are artists that are pretty well known that at least used to be emo at in the 2000’s and maybe even a bit earlier.
Fall Out Boy
One of the big three in the emo scene! But, you may even know them from more mainstream music during the mid-2010s like ‘Centuries’ and ‘Immortals’, from the Big Hero 6 Movie Soundtrack! They also had some pretty popular hits in the early 2000s like ‘Sugar, We’re Goin Down’ and ‘Dance, Dance’ from their second album, From Under The Cork Tree.
Panic! At The Disco
Another one of the big three! You definitely know P!ATD’s singer, Brendon Urie’s voice, from some mid-2010s hits like ‘High Hopes’ and ‘This is Gospel’. But he used to have an entire band that was emo! You may even know one of the songs by the name of ‘I Write Sins Not Tragedies’ from their first album, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out.
My Chemical Romance
The third band of the big three. They are most known for their two albums, The Black Parade and Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. The lead singer for MCR, Gerard Way, is also the creator of the popular Netflix show, The Umbrella Academy.
Pierce the Veil
This band doesn’t have any radio hits, but usually, when you hear the topic of emo music, you’ll hear this band’s name being thrown around. They became more well-known from their single, ‘King For A Day’ from their third album, Collide With The Sky, featuring the lead singer of the band, Sleeping With Sirens.
Sleeping With Sirens
This band isn’t too well-known outside of the emo scene, but they gained traction after their lead singer, Kellin Quinn, featured on Pierce the Veil’s ‘King For A Day’. They’re most played and well-known song is ‘If You Can’t Hang’ from
